Multiplying Church Cohort

The Ask:

Pastor, you’re invited to participate in our Fall 2026 Multiplying Church Cohort. This strategic cohort mobilizes pastors to lead multiplying churches by discussing and brainstorming three multiplying steps (see below) and developing plans for implementing them. It is a partnership between the Nelson Baptist Association (NBA), Louisville Regional Baptist Association (LRBA), and the North Central Baptist Network. We encourage you to bring other church leaders or mentees with you.

Our Association will meet at River View Baptist Church (1850 Old Louisville Rd, Coxs Creek, KY 40013) .

We will meet at 6:00 pm on the following dates: (Dinner Will Be Provided)

Thursday August 13

Thursday September 10

Thursday October 8

Thursday November 12

Thursday December 3 (in person only celebration)

(We greatly value the in-person meetings, but are willing to offer a virtual option.)

What is a Multiplying Church?

A Multiplying Church takes strategic steps—even small, slow, and steady steps—needed to multiply. Multiplying is planting or replanting a church, partnering with a plant or replant, helping a church revitalization, or sending an international missionary.

What are the Strategic Multiplying Steps?

  1. PRAY for gospel needs.
  • Pastors lead their churches to pray regularly and intentionally for gospel needs and priorities.
  1. PREPARE people and resources for partnership.
  • Pastors prepare their people to be part of mission teams to help plants, replants, and struggling churches or core teams who join plants, replants, and struggling churches.
  • Pastors lead their church to prepare their budgets to be ready to give financial resources
  1. PRODUCE disciples and leaders.
  • Pastors develop and implement a discipleship and leadership development strategy that produces pastors, planters, and replanters.
  • Pastors lead their churches to send these men with partnership as the Lord leads
