Childcare (3:30 – 5:00 pm / 6:30 – 8:00 pm):
Childcare will be available during the Breakout Sessions from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm and during the Worship/Business Session from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. We ask that you pick up your child during the Dinner Session from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Childcare will NOT be provided during the Dinner Session. Childcare will be available for Pre/K and under. Growing Sunday School and Small Groups with Jonathan Berry, Sunday School and Discipleship Consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention – Small Groups and Sunday School classes can be much more than a lesson on Sunday mornings. Discover practical ways to build a group that studies Scripture, cares for others, reaches new people, develops leaders, and grows in this breakout session.
God is Making Us Stronger Together with Lisa Crenshaw, WMU Director for the Nelson Baptist Association –
Living Sent, No Spectators of the Great Commission with Matthew Spandler-Davison, Lead Elder for Redeemer Fellowship Church and Executive Director of 20schemes – What does it look like to live as missionary every day? How can we fulfill the Great Commission daily? What might it take for the whole church to live on mission? Matthew will help us consider how to live our lives as God-sent disciple makers.
Resolving Everday Conflict with Barry Jeffries, Regional Consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention – This breakout offers powerful and practical answers to change how conflict looks in your life and church. Each registrant will receive a free copy of “Resolving Everday Conflict.”
Beyond the Attendance List: What Membership Actually Means – This session explores how meaningful membership moves beyond just attending on Sundays, calling people into real commitment, accountability, and belonging within the body of Christ. Participants will leave with practical steps for helping their congregation see membership not as a formality, but as a covenant that shapes discipleship and community.

Wise Adaptation or Slow Erosion? Navigating A.I. in Ministry – As A.I. tools begin to be integrated into everything, pastors and church leaders face real questions about where these tools can be beneficial while, at the same time, having to answer hard questions about authenticity and a pastor’s own spiritual formation. This panel discussion will attempt to weigh its practical benefits against its real risks, asking where the line should be drawn and how history might judge this moment.

The Nelson Baptist Association is pleased to invite ministries that partner and cooperate with churches in our association to exhibit at our Annual Meeting. The goal of hosting exhibitors is to inform our attendees of the ministry happening in our association churches and to encourage churches to partner in the work.
If your ministry is partnering with a Nelson Baptist Association church and would like to exhibit at our 2025 Annual Meeting, please use this form to apply. The Ministry Teams will review your application and reply soon. The deadline for application is September 3rd.
According to our constitution, messengers are elected from their membership as follows:
- Each church shall be entitled to two (2) messengers for the first fifty (50) members.
- For each additional twenty-five (25) members, or major portion thereof, each church may choose one (1) messenger up to twenty (20) messengers.
- In addition to the number of messengers a church is allowed by its membership, it is to be noted that all pastors of member churches and team leaders, assistant team leaders, members at large of the Administrative Team, and officers of association are considered messengers.
