Please mark your calendars for our annual Spring Gathering. We will be meeting at First Baptist Church Shepherdsville, located at 254 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165. We will be meeting on Saturday, March 21st, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Our theme this year is “The Sufficiency of the Word.” There will be four breakout sessions (more information to come), one by each association team and one extra, followed by our main worship gathering. Our main speaker is Brother Billy Jenkins who has served as pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Shepherdsville, Kentucky for last 15 years! Since being at Mt. Zion Pastor Jenkins has put emphasis on ministering to God’s people through Evangelizing the unsaved for Christ, Equipping believers for Christian living and discipleship, Engaging in Christian fellowship and service and Exalting the Savior through prayer, praise practicing the truth and the proclamation of the Gospel. Pastor Jenkins has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Louisville and has been happily married to the former Angela L. Griffin since June 19, 1993 and they are parents of three children. We gladly welcome pastor Jenkins to come and share with us about the sufficiency of God’s Word! We pray that each of our association churches will be able to attend.
