7 Essential Truths about Church Discipline

1. Church Discipline is a vital aspect of our calling (Acts 20:28-31).
2. Church Discipline is a vital aspect of a healthy church (Matthew 18:15-17, 1 Corinthians 5:1-11, Galatians 6:1).
3. Church Discipline is discipleship (Teaching and Correcting).
4. Church Discipline is an act of love for the believer (Hebrews 12:1-14, 1 Corinthians 5:5, Galatians 6:1)
5. Church Discipline is an act of love for the church (2 Thessalonians 3:6-15).
6. Church Discipline is an act of love for the world.
7. Church Discipline is a function of Biblical Church Membership.

Pray for the many mission trips (both international and within the US) that individuals from our churches will be participating in over the next few months. 

Lord, keep us from getting side tracked. May we remain focused on You and Your Kingdom work. May we run to please You!
