Breakout Sessions:
“Digital Detours: Navigating a Tech Highway in an Ever-Changing World” by Seth York, Director of Cedarmore Camp for Crossings Ministries – In a tech-saturated world, join me for a discussion on how we can redeem technology, leverage it for connection, stay up to date in a rapidly changing climate, and discern what ought to be completely avoided with students, teens, and adults. This time will be aimed at helpful practices, grounding Biblical truth, and cautionary guides on maintaining healthy rhythms of Biblical community.
“Persevering with the Prophets: Lessons in Ministry Longevity and Faithfulness from the Old Testament” by Justin Anderson, Pastor of Bardstown Junction Baptist Church – In this breakout session, we will examine the ministries of four prophets and discuss how their example helps pastors to deal with difficulties in ministry. Join us as we look at Elijah dealing with loneliness in ministry, Elisha dealing with hurtful/mean people, Isaiah preaching to unrepentant people/preaching without results, and Jeremiah dealing with loss of passion for the Word of God and his people/pressure to compromise the Gospel.
