Sign-Up for Children’s Ministry Day 2014

Please join the Nelson Baptist Association as we celebrate Children’s Ministry Day on Wednesday, March 19th from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

We will be putting together Children’s Survivor Kits. The kits will be used at various events on May 17th as part of Crossover Shepherdsville.

Please sign up here and bring the items to the Children’s Ministry Day Share Out at Victory Baptist Church on March 19th.

Executive Board Meeting – Tuesday, Feb 18, 7pm at Vine Hill

All are invited to our next Executive Board Meeting, February 18, 7pm at Vine Hill Baptist Church. (There will be no meal before this meeting.)

This meeting will be hosted by the Association’s Church and Community Ministry Team. The evening will feature updates from the Church and Community Ministries Team on their ministries. In particular, the new Block Party Trailer will be on-site for viewing and information. Also, we will hear about Baptist Global Response and the Buckets of Hope Project.

Final Pastors Forum – Feb 22

Two Pastors Forums were held in January. Please be sure to join us for our final Pastors Forum this month:

Saturday, February 22, 1-3pm
Cedar Grove Coffee House
142 Buffalo Run, Shepherdsville

The purpose of these forums is to facilitate discussion among pastors as to how the association can best serve association pastors and churches, as well as to familiar you with our Ministry Teams.

Refreshments will be available, compliments of the Association. Registration is not required, though RSVPing with the association office is appreciated (502-348-0146; nelsonbaptistassociation@gmail.com).

We look forward to what the Lord will do as we partner together in 2014 in “Strengthening Churches, Sharing Christ’s Love.”

POSTPONED: Executive Board Meeting

Tonight’s Executive Board meeting has been postponed due to the potential for inclimate weather to arrive during tonight’s meeting.

The Executive Board Meeting will be rescheduled for February 18, 7pm at Vine Hill Baptist Church. (There will be no meal before this meeting.)

This meeting will be hosted by the Association’s Church and Community Ministry Team. The evening will feature a meal and updates from the CCMTeam on their ministries.

RISK: 2014 State Evangelism Conference – Feb 24-25

The RISK 2014: State Evangelism Conference will be February 24-25 at the Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabeth town.

There’s no charge to attend RISK, but registration is requested. All those who register will be eligible for a drawing to win an iPad! Registration will be available on their website.
