We will once again be hosting a panel discussion at this year’s Annual Meeting of the Nelson Baptist Association. Our topic this year will be Christian Hospitality: A Means of Loving Your Neighbor. Christian hospitality is a crucial element in building Christian community. Outside of the Gospel, it may well be one of the best means we have to promote close, brotherly love. It is especially important in churches where people really don’t know each other or where relationships are superficial, Sunday-morning-only relationships. Hospitality can also be an effective tool for evangelism. Showing Christ’s love to others by being hospitable is a great means Christians have to reach their neighbors for Christ and to help them see what true Christian faith really looks like.
Join our local association pastors – Mike Nalley (Mt. Carmel), James Carroll (Parkway), Marcus Daily (True Vine), and Matthew Spandler-Davison (Redeemer Fellowship) – as we look at what Christian hospitality is and how to practice it yourself.
The panel discussion will be hosted by The Church in Dialogue. Find out more about The Church in Dialogue by clicking on the Facebook icon below.
The panel discussion will be hosted in the sanctuary during at 6:00 p.m. during the 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Dinner/Ministry Booths portion of our Annual Meeting. We hope you will join us!
